I initially saw this dress on the David's Bridal website. It stood out because of the lace, A-line style, and delicate cap sleeves (no bat wings from a strapless dress here, ladies!) Our wedding incorporated a bicycle theme, and the fact that the David's Bridal website showed the model with a blue bike made it seem serendipitous. My first trip to David's Bridal was a little overwhelming considering I was a size 14 and all the dresses you see growing up are modeled by 6-foot size zeros, so many of the dresses I tried on made me feel like a snow beast. Rrrrawrrrhhh!!! Out of the many dresses I tried, this was by far the most flattering and the only one that made me feel like a bride. It has more of a classic look that makes me confident I won't cringe when I look back at it 20 years later (cough, early 90's marshmallow-poof long sleeves.) Along with the dress I will be including the medium fullness A-line slip that helps the dress keep its shape and minimizes the number of times Uncle Larry will step on it. Also size 14. I hope you enjoy this dress as much as I did. I am very happily married over a year later and would be sending only good juju along with the dress.
